Today two of our school councillors, Craig and Ryan, represented the school at the Poole Secondary Schools Anti-bullying Conference. The event took place at the Civic centre and was opened by His Worship the Mayor of Poole.
The boys joined in with a role-play activity in the morning, where they took the role of an iceberg, before breaking off into groups. Working with children from the Grammar Schools, Corfe Hills, St. Alhelm’s Academy, Ashdown Community College and Poole High School, the boys shared ideas about how to raise the profile of anti-bullying. They devised plans and shared these ideas during a feedback session in front of many local dignitaries.
Well done boys! You did us proud and were true ambassadors for Winchelsea School.
